Aimee Juarez

Owner / Lead Photographer

With 15+ years of lifestyle photography and 10 years of momming under her belt, Aimee's developed a unique ability to coax genuine smiles out of kids by connecting with them on a personal level and helping them feel comfortable in front of the camera.

Jessica Moore

Project Manager

Jess has a knack for making the complicated feel chill, and is wildly savvy in all things organization and process management. (Parenting 3 athletes will do that to ya!) Those skills combined with her delightful personality make the Picture Day planning process feel effortless.

Cici Sullivan

Portrait Assistant

Standing out as a born leader and a natural talent in the GlenOak Commercial Photography program, Cici joined the ColorPop Crew after graduating in 2023. She keeps Picture Day moving efficiently and brings a playful energy the kids can't help but join in on.

Student Assistants

Having graduated from the GlenOak Commercial Photography program in 2007, Aimee understands the value of early opportunity and mentorship for budding professionals. ColorPop Portraits offers students studying Commerical Photography the opportunity to assist at Picture Day events, giving them hands-on experience applying the lighting techniques learned in the classroom as well as developing necessary client relationship skills.

A note of Gratitude from Aimee

Since the moment I shared my daydream of becoming the #1 sought-after picture day photographer in Northeast Ohio with my family and friends for the first time, I've been met with nothing less than encouragement, support, connections, brainstorming sessions, and full belief that I am capable of making it happen.

I've never loved a job as much as I love this work, and I know full well that it wouldn't be possible without the support of my family and friends (who are pretty much family at this point.)

Take Jess for example. She and I have been friends since 5th grade, and when I asked her thoughts about joining me to help with some organizational needs and project management support, she volunteered to jump in before I could even pay her. Seriously, what?!

My husband, David, has been fully invested since the get-go. Never complaining about my late nights working, never asking when the big bucks are coming, never questioning my ability to be a successful business owner. He's shown enormous generosity and offered soul-level encouragement every step of the way.

My high school Commercial Photography instructor, B, has welcomed me back into the GlenOak fold as a mentor and advisory board member (talk about an ego boost!) and encourages her students to participate in ColorPop as student assistants. Her genuine enthusiasm for my work makes my heart sparkle every time we're together.

My children are sick of being photographed, but they continue to oblige my requests because they're excited about the business I'm building (also, they want to go to Disney, and mom making money is how we make that happen, so you know, there's that!) My sisters, parents, and in-laws are constantly ready to watch the kids and haul equipment if I'm ever in a pinch.

The team at PhotoDay® has provided the tools and technical support necessary for me to get this business up and running in a ridiculously short amount of time. After having met the team in person at the first PhotoDay Experience in 2022, I know I've found an extended business family that has my back.

It feels wrong not to name every single person who has offered wisdom, guidance, celebration, and support on the "team page," but I couldn't possibly list every one of you.

We may be a small crew, but we have an enormous team cheering us on. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to each and every one of you!

XOXO

Aimee
