FAQs

How do I know when picture day is?

You will receive a flyer prior to picture day with the date of your child’s portrait session and the color of the background for that season. You’ll also see posters and reminders around the school!

Can siblings be photographed together?

Absolutely! Unless otherwise instructed by your school, we love photographing siblings together!

How do I view and order my child’s portraits?

Your gallery will be delivered digitally via our gallery platform, PhotoDay. When you follow the link on your take home flyers, you’ll be taken directly to your gallery. From there you’ll preview your gallery, make your selections and place your order.

Can I pay with cash or check?

No. All payments are securely processed by Stripe via PhotoDay. You may pay online with any major credit card or debit card. If you need to make other payment arrangements, please contact us via the form above.

What should my child wear?

You’ll want to dress your child in something that coordinates with that season’s background color, chosen by your school administration. Many times parents choose to send a change of clothes for kids to play in after their portrait session.

How will we know when my child’s portraits are ready?

Assuming you’ve accessed your gallery on or before picture day and opted into notifications, you’ll receive a text message notification with the link to your portraits as soon as they’re published. Otherwise, you’ll need to wait for a flyer to be sent home from school.

Is there a deadline for ordering?

Yes. Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end. Once your portraits are published, your group ordering window is open for two weeks. All orders placed during that time will be shipped for free together to your school and sent home with your child. After that, you’ll have another two weeks to place last minute orders which will be shipped to your home for a small shipping fee.

Can I retouch or edit my child’s portraits?

No, and there’s no need! Your portraits will be delivered in pristine condition. ColorPop Portraits images are protected by US and Ohio state copyright laws and may not be altered after purchase.

Do I need to register before picture day?

In most cases, no. Unless notified otherwise, your child will be photographed on picture day without you needing to register or RSVP. However, you are encouraged to text your gallery ID to 90738 on or before picture day so we can notify you via text as soon as your gallery is ready to view.

About how long will it take for galleries to be published?

Please allow up to one week for us to prepare your galleries before publishing. The best way to know when galleries are ready is to opt into gallery notifications on or before picture day by texting your gallery ID code to 90738.

What kinds of products do you offer?

We offer all standard sizes of portrait prints from wallets to 16x20. We also offer high-resolution digital file accompanied by a printing release.

What if I have more than one child at the school?

We’ll be happy to photograph your children together unless we receive alternative instructions from school administration, and you’ll be able to purchase portraits from all your galleries in one check out experience.
