ColorPop Portraits: Official Photographer of the 2025 OAEYC Early Childhood Conference

This April, the ColorPop Portraits crew had the incredible honor of serving as the official photographer for the Ohio Association for the Education of Young Children’s Annual Early Childhood Conference—for the second year in a row!

Held at Kalahari Resorts in Sandusky, Ohio, this three-day conference is a whirlwind of learning, laughter, and connection for thousands of early childhood educators, administrators, and advocates from across the state. And we got to be in the heart of it all—camera in hand.

Our booth in the exhibit hall gave us the perfect opportunity to meet attendees, share samples of our work, and connect with schools and organizations who share our passion for supporting young children. But most of our team’s time? Spent dashing around like over-caffeinated wild animals—capturing:

  • The bustling energy of the exhibit hall and its incredible vendors

  • Inspiring keynote speakers and engaged breakout sessions

  • Spontaneous hallway conversations and joyful reunions

  • And yes… the legendary live-band karaoke party that brings the house down every year 🎤

We love documenting this event because it’s more than just a conference—it’s a celebration of the educators who shape the future, the friendships formed over shared purpose, and the moments that remind everyone why they do this important work.

Thank you to the OAEYC for trusting us to tell your story for the second year in a row. We’re already counting down the days until next year’s conference—and maybe even the next round of karaoke.

If you’re a school administrator, director, or educator who’s never attended the OAEYC Annual Conference, we can’t recommend it enough. Not only will you connect with passionate early childhood professionals from across Ohio, but you’ll also find tons of opportunities to earn Continuing Education (CE) credits through workshops, keynote sessions, and hands-on trainings. It’s the perfect mix of professional growth, fresh ideas, and community—plus a little bit of fun on the side.

We hope to see you there, April 23-25, 2026!
