Updates for Fall 2025
We’re Listening — Here’s What’s New for This School Year
Whether you’re consistently thrilled with your school portraits or you’ve secretly wished I’d tweak a thing or two, I’m so glad you’re here. I read every comment, suggestion, and bit of feedback you shared — and I truly value your input.
After polling 800+ families, here’s the “average” of what you told me:
You love the ColorPop look – vibrant, joyful, and full of personality.
Wallet-sized prints? Not your thing anymore. You’re modern parents (and grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cool caregivers) who are ready to retire the tiny prints.
Digital images are a must – but you’d like them to be more affordable.
A few of you want a more even mix of poses with and without props.
I know I can’t give every family their exact dream picture day (as much as I’d love to!), but my job is to balance my creative vision with what most of you want to see. And thanks to your feedback, we’ve got some exciting updates for the 2025-26 school year.
Here’s What’s Getting Upgraded:
1. Fresh Packages & Digital Bundles
We’ve reworked our packages and digital bundles to give you more of what you want — and yes, digital pricing just got friendlier on your wallet.
2. More Consistent Poses With (and Without) Props
Props bring so much personality to portraits — and many of you adore them — but I hear those of you who prefer clean, classic shots. We’ll be making sure every child gets both options so you can choose what you love best.
HINT: If you don’t love the props we bring- remember that you’re invited to send your child with something special to them. Some of our favorites we’ve seen are: stuffies, blankets, books - we even had a little dude show up with a tiny guitar, and it was SERIOUS rock star vibes!
3. Better Communication & Reminders
We’re updating our posters and take-home flyers to make it crystal clear how to get into your gallery before picture day so you receive text reminders. I know it’s a pain to opt into texts every season, so I’m working with our software team to make this process smoother and more consistent- hopefully I’ll have more news on that by Spring ‘26.
I’m so excited for you to see how these updates make picture day even better. And remember, this is just the start. We’re going to keep listening, growing, and finding new ways to celebrate the joy of childhood one silly smile at a time!
